Day #23, Albuquerque NM

Sunday Nov 1, 2009 - (Its a new month) Today we spent the day touring in the Albuquerque area.
First, this is where we are living. I has 2 rooms 2 TVs a full kitchen. And if you believe Nina is cooking I have some swamp land I want to sell you (lower right).

As we drove around town these are some of the spots we saw.

We went to an area of town they called "Old Town". This is the tourist area of town.

Next we found the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. This was a very large amazing area. You could spend a lot of time here.

They had an amazing group of statues showing early travels in the area.

Then on to Petroglyph National Monument. They have a lot of petroglyphs (old Indian symbols) in the area. There are trails going everywhere is see the many different ones.

Randy lived in Albuquerque 2 different times on his mission. But he lived in the Spanish part so it was pretty bad, probably not where you have been. But he loved the town, but that was a long time ago also. You must be feeling better if you have moved on.
