Day 14, On the way home, still.

Jan 2, 2010 Saturday. We are still on the way home. We have now turned a 1 day trip into a 3 day trip.
We ran into some bad fog with some black ice (we almost stopped right there). It lasted for about 50 miles then cleared up.

There were horses and barns in the fields.

And there were horses on the overpasses.

Large wind farms. Not much wind for power generation today.

They must like their coffee in Oregon because they carry it in very big containers.

We did make it to Troutdale, Oregon (that's about 10 miles east of Portland). We are hoping to make it home tomorrow. The weather looks good, so maybe.

What were those horses doing on the overpass. Was someone with them or were they running wild? And how do you catch such great shots--is your camera ready all the time? They don't even look like you are moving. Great photographer!!

I don't think those horses on the overpass are moving too much. They are statues frozen in time.
